Orders

Our experts and our bibliographic retrieval systems allow us to process and forward your orders to the publisher quickly and efficiently. We prepay your subscriptions, whenever this is necessary.

We do not only manage your annualsubscriptions, but we can also order single issues and back issues from previous years.

We will provide trial issues for you at no cost (providing the publisher offers this kind of service).

Delivery deadline
Journals from the German speaking countries are delivered within 2-3 weeks, from other countries within 6-10 weeks.

Prices are subject to change.

Offers

You can request an offer for individual journals or a full portfolio at any time.

Renewal

To avoid interruptions in the delivery of the journals, you need to renew your subscriptions with the publisher yearly. We renew your subscriptions on schedule and forward prepayments to the publisher on your behalf.

Automatic renewal:
we automatically renew every subscription that has not been cancelled.

Request for renewal of each subscription/database:
we will send you a request for each single journal/database 4 months before the subscription is due to expire.

List of subscriptions:
we will send you one list of the subscriptions to each billing address. You can check expiry date, delivery address and so on at a glance.

Period of notice:
If you wish to cancel an existing subscription you need to give written notice at least 3 months before the expiry date of the subscription. You can transmit your notice with our notice form right here.

Billing

We manage all payments for you, including prepayments. You won't need to undertake any payments in Switzerland or abroad by yourself (bank-, check-, reimbursment fees, etc.). This will substantially save you not only money but also precious time.
You can select billing and delivery addresses (per department, budgeting unit, etc.) according to your needs.
Depending on your journal-portfolio you can take advantage of one of our several billing schemes:

• Single invoice
• Monthly installments
• Twice yearly invoices

Claiming missing issues

Every publisher is investing a great deal of effort to guarantee a smooth delivery of the journals. However, sometimes one or more issues do not reach the recipient. Every journal is sent directly to your delivery address by the publisher. We ask you to check every incoming journal and to notify us immediately for missing issues.

You can use our claims form for this purpose.

We would like to remind you that most publishers will not accept a request for missing issues after 3 - 6 months past the publication date. After this deadline we can not guarantee you a delivery of the item free of charge.

Subscription lists

You can request a list of the subscriptions for each billing address at any time. You will be able to quickly check the journals you have subscribed to, the delivery address of every single journal, the expiry date and so on.

Electronic journals

Not only do we manage the hardcopy of your subscriptions but also your online and combined subscriptions. As the number of online journals is increasing constantly. We keep you informed at all times about availability and conditions of an online version of your journal subscription. Our long experience in the field of electronic media and our excellent collaboration with leading publishing companies has made us a competent partner in the assessment of prices and licences for network / corporation solutions.
